It’s our year – isn’t it? As ever there is the Dolphins optimism that this year it must come together to get back to the playoffs.
All eyes are on Suh and Wake as the Dolphins have built one of the best D-lines in the NFL. Add to that the exciting splash on offence. A transformed WR core – no longer the oldest and most overpaid – with Landry being joined by Stills and Parker the team has a young hungry nucleus to build around for years to come. If Jordan Cameron stays healthy he will be an impact player and adding Jay Ajayi to complement Lamar Miller means Ryan Tannehill has plenty of weapons to show his talent which is often overlooked
The question is can we finish – too often the Dolphins show so much promise and then splutter – often outcoached many would say so this year really is the acid test for Joe Philbin who still remains on the hot seat, especially as we finally have a capable GM (bye bye Jeff Ireland and his big pick of Dion Jordan) . Brent Grimes is talented but I think every Phins fan wishes his wife Miko would shut up (can we ban her from Wembley please?) and Mike Pouncey still needs to prove he is a leader and capable of growing up.
Bring on the season, bring on Wembley, and bring on the cautious optimism that us Dolphins fans have every year around this point! Phins Up!
