NFL Network Names Broadcast Talent for AFFL Coverage

Giants Play-by-Play Voice Bob Papa, Former NFL QB Dan Orlovsky and NFL Network’s Kay Adams and Cole Wright Make Up Broadcast Team for Live Games Beginning June 30

NFL Network has announced its broadcast assignments for live coverage of the American Flag Football League’s (AFFL) U.S. Open of Football Tournament, making its television debut Saturday, June 30.

Giants radio voice Bob Papa will be joined in the booth by former NFL QB Dan Orlovsky and Good Morning Football’s Kay Adams on the sideline for live AFFL game action June 30 – July 1 from Pittsburgh, July 7-8 from Atlanta and for the Ultimate Final July 19 in Houston. NFL Total Access host Cole Wright will pick up play-by-play duties and join Orlovsky and Adams July 14 in Indianapolis.

NFL Network’s coverage of the U.S. Open of Football Tournament is made up of 11 live game broadcasts featuring the top eight amateur flag football teams in the nation. The amateur teams will battle it out for a chance to test their skills against one of the four Pro teams captained by former NFL, NBA and Olympic standouts including Michael Vick (Roadrunners), Chad Ochocinco (Ocho), Nate Robinson (Holdat), Carlos Boozer (Holdat) and Michael Johnson (Godspeed).

The last amateur team and pro team standing will meet in the Ultimate Final July 19 at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston for the chance to win a $1 million cash prize.

Each AFFL game experience will also feature appearances from notable NFL Legends in the local community that will be on hand to interact with fans. Among the confirmed appearances are:

June 30 Pittsburgh Willie Parker, James Conner
July 1 Pittsburgh Santonio Holmes, Jesse James
July 7-8 Atlanta Michael Vick

NFL Legends that will be on hand July 14 in Indianapolis and July 19 in Houston will be announced via the AFFL social channels at a later date.
