Carolina Panthers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Carolina Panthers (4-3) are ranked 2nd in the NFC South having lost 17-3 to the Chicago Bears last Sunday. The Panthers travel to Tampa Bay to take on their Divisional rivals. The Buccaneers (2-4) sit 4th in the division and also suffered a loss last week against the Bills, albeit by only three points. A tight contest to take on but a slight lean to the Bucs to land the win and Cam Newton will be in a bigger strop than normal.
Prediction Panthers: 1-6, Buccs: 1-6, 7-12
Oakland Raiders @ Buffalo Bills
The Oakland Raiders (3-4) are ranked bottom of the AFC West. But they go into this weekend feeling good after the win against the Chiefs. This week, they will travel to the Ralph Wilson Stadium in New York to face the 2nd place Buffalo Bills (4-2). Both Bills and Raiders won last week, and again, the picks reflect it could go either way, but I can see the Bills having the overall advantage.
Prediction Raiders: 1-6, Bills: 1-6, 7-12
Chicago Bears @ New Orleans Saints
The Chicago Bears (3-4) are sitting at the bottom of the NFC North. But despite this, their 17-3 win last Sunday 17-3 vs the Panthers showed many positives that aren’t reflected by their record. This week, the Bears are heading to New Orleans. The Saints (4-2) lead the NFC South and had a great 26-17 win against the Packers. The spread opened at -6.5 for the home side and now out to -9 which I agree with so 1 to 12 is the pick.
Prediction Saints: 1-6, 7-12
Indianapolis Colts @ Cincinnati Bengals
The Indianapolis Colts suffered a total blow out against the Jacksonville Jaguars in a game that ended 27-0 only reinforcing that their position of the bottom of their division is deserving. The Colts are heading to the Paul Brown Stadium in Ohio to face the 2-4, Cincinnati Bengals who are ranked 3rd in the AFC North division. The Bengals suffered a 29-14 loss to Steelers last week. Home side should take this albeit narrowly.
Prediction Bengals: 1-6, 7-12
Houston Texans @ Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks landed a solid win last week against the New York Giants. Houston had last Sunday off which came at the right time seeing they have as many wins as losses so far this season. The line on the match has the home side -6. I see it being closer than that and have it going either way by a field goal.
Prediction Texans: 1-6, Seahawks: 1-6
Dallas Cowboys @ Washington Redskins
The Cowboys (3-3) stand 2nd in NFC East. They won their last game 40-10 against the San Francisco 49ers although that is hardly a surprise. This week, the Cowboys face the Washington Redskins who just suffered a 34-24 loss to the Eagles. A tough one to call with either the Cowboys showing the same domination of last week or Washington turning things around and pulling off the narrow victory.
Prediction Cowboys: 7-12, Redskins: 1-6
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Detroit Lions
The AFC North divisional leaders Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2) have just come off a great win against the Bengals. Two weeks back, the Lions lost to New Orleans despite scoring 38 points. Hopefully the week off has helped them sort some defensive issues. Taking the underdogs to surprise everyone and win by a touch down.
Prediction Lions: 7-12
